How to make a quiet book page for an ABC quiet book. This letter A quiet book idea features an adorable chomping alligator and an apple for practicing counting to five.
I often think I am crazy for wanting to make another quiet book, but I can't help it. They are addicting to make. Plus, once you have the experience of making one (or two or three), you'll find it doesn't take you as long to make a page. I find the planning phase so much easier this time around and I already have my template for punching the holes for the pages, so I can eliminate a few of the time consuming steps from the first time around.
Anyway, the new quiet book pages that I am working on are for an ABC quiet book. And boy oh boy, am I ever having fun creating these pages!
First up is this letter A quiet book page and A is for apple and alligator.
A is for apple and alligator. |
The alligator's mouth can be moved up and down, as it's attached with a brad fastener.
Chomp, chomp, chomp. |
And the apple is a flap. Lift it up to reveal five seeds, which are just black brad fasteners.
A red apple. |
Lift the flap to reveal the apple's seeds. |
