Here's a quick and simple winter themed math light table activity for kids that I put together as part of this month's Light & Reflections series. It's a great way to practice counting, one-to-one correspondence, addition, and more.
Winter Math Light Table Activity for Kids
For this winter math tray, we used:
- Mini plastic magnetic numbers
I set the materials out in a clear organizer on the light table and, of course, J was all over this tray. It is math and numbers after all!
J loved to shake the dice and then put the equal sign next to them. Then he would calculate the answer and count out the appropriate number of counters.
Don't you just love the way the acrylic snowflakes look on the light table? They look so sparkly!
