Looking for winter math activities for kids? Then try this simple winter math activity for the light table.

Here's a quick and simple winter themed math light table activity for kids that I put together as part of this month's Light & Reflections series. It's a great way to practice counting, one-to-one correspondence, addition, and more.

For this winter math tray, we used:

  • Mini plastic magnetic numbers

I set the materials out in a clear organizer on the light table and, of course, J was all over this tray. It is math and numbers after all!

J loved to shake the dice and then put the equal sign next to them. Then he would calculate the answer and count out the appropriate number of counters.
