The Wobbly Easter eggs have been tremendously popular with the boys, especially J.  He loves to count and has been working on learning some simple math.  So why not turn the eggs into a simple math activity?!

This Easter themed math activity for kids encourages addition and color matching. It would also make a good busy bag activity for on the go.

Here's what you'll need for this Easter math activity:

Draw simple addition equations using the same colored markers as the eggs.  My cards had the answer on the back and J asked me to write the numbers on the front of the card, along with the egg drawings.

J did the cards for a bit, but then found his own way to play.  He flipped over the cards and then counted the corresponding number of eggs onto the card.
