Are you a fan of gingerbread cookies? My youngest really likes them, but I don't make them ever. They seem like so much work. The closest I've come to making gingerbread cookies is this I spy game and that's definitely not edible.

So when I was making some deep breathing mindfulness posters for Christmas, I knew I had to include a gingerbread man exercise.

This gingerbread themed deep breathing exercise is perfect for kids of all ages.

A Simple Breathing Exercise for Kids with a Christmas Twist

Like the wreath breathing exercise, this technique combines counting with breathing. It only involves counting to three, making it a great technique to try with really young kids, such as toddlers.

You point to his buttons and breathe in and out while you do.

I have to admit though that all I can think of is the movie Shrek when the gingerbread man says, "Not my gumdrop buttons!" Quoting from movies is what I do...I can't help it!
