Working on emotions doesn't have to be boring. There are plenty of ways to practice emotions through play and with games. I promise that it's easy to make learning about emotions fun.
And since it's so close to Halloween, it just makes sense to do a little Halloween themed emotions activity or two, right?
Well, this free printable vampire themed emotions bingo game fits the bill. It's tons of fun (aka it doesn't suck - see what I did there??) and totally on theme for Halloween.
I mean just look at how cute these itty bitty vampires are! They're adorable!
About this Vampire Themed Emotions Bingo Game
If you're familiar with bingo at all, then you'll know how to play this game. The main differences here are that there are only 3 columns and 3 rows instead of the usual 5. There is also no free space on these cards.
To play, shuffle the calling cards and place them in a pile face down. Draw a card and read the name of the emotion shown on the card.
Then, using the image on the calling card as a reference, check to see if that emotion is on your game card or not. If it is, cover the spot using a bingo dabber (if unlaminated), cross it off with a dry erase marker (if laminated), or use a some kind of small manipulative like a Halloween mini eraser, glass stone, or poker chip.
I also highly recommend laminating the bingo game cards and calling cards first for durability. Here's the laminator I use and love.
If you don't have a laminator, then you can also just use clear sheet protectors, which you can usually find at the dollar store. Just slip the printable inside and voila!
